Scotia Technology receives silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award

(Laconia, NH, March 4, 2010) Scotia Technology today announced that it has received a Boeing Performance Excellence Award for the second year in a row.

The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Scotia Technology maintained a composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct.1, 2008, to Sept.30, 2009 of better than 99% for both quality and delivery when supplying more than 15,000 units.

This year, Boeing recognized 486 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing

Performance Excellence Award. Scotia Technology is among 358 suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition.

“In today’s highly competitive global aerospace sector, being a supplier of accomplished performance allows Scotia Technology to stand apart from the competition, enabling us to continue growing as a business in a down-turned economy, benefitting all of the employees, and assuring the longevity of the company,” stated Katt Stewart, Projects Manager/Sales of Scotia.

Scotia Technology supplies bent, welded and brazed tube assemblies to Boeing for many types of both commercial and military aircraft, including unmanned vehicles, helicopters, and satellites.

With long-term contracts in place, Scotia looks forward to supporting these programs by continuing to manufacture high quality parts delivered on time ~ every time!
