The Quality Department is transitioning to a new data collection and analysis
system to better monitor and control such processes including Corrective
& Preventative Actions, Internal Auditing, Nonconformance Reporting, Preventative
Maintenance, and Document Control.
The added workload to our Quality Department was immense during our move
to the new facility (including an extraordinary amount of First Article
Reports to complete), yet Scotia was able to successfully maintain continued
certification of our Nadcap, AS9100, and ISO9001:2008 approvals by passing
surveillance audits seamlessly.
As of March 2011, two members of the Scotia TEAM have successfully completed the requirements for the FAA/RR supplier Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) Program. This will allow Scotia to inspect work on behalf of the Rolls-Royce Corporation ODA system within a certain function code for greater flexibility and shorter lead time.
The Quality Department is actively working towards successful registration
to the latest change of AS9100 Revision C (2009) to effectively enhance
our Quality Management System by July 1st, 2012
We look forward to supporting your quality needs!
