Scotia Technology - About Us
Scotia Technology, a Division of Lakes Region Tubular Products, Inc., was established in 1979, and still operating as a small business, but now in a modern 48,000 square foot, retrofitted, state of the art energy efficient facility. We offer our customers the benefits of personal, hands-on expertise with quick responsiveness and competitive pricing.

Expanding upon what we already offer into the value stream, Scotia continues to hone our skills in the kitting of tube assemblies, hardware, and other components offering tube kits for domestic and international delivery, directly to the OEM's and the sub-tiers for an array of platforms.

2010 was a busy year for Scotia due to our move to a new modern manufacturing facility. Congratulations to the Scotia TEAM for a successful hard-earned transition about a mile from the previous facility! Many positive benefits and accomplishments arose from this move including:

- An opportunity to 6S our entire operation
- Reviewed our resources, processes, and procedures
- Greater capacity with efficient and effective workflow
- IT overhaul of our existing computer and communication systems

Although the added workload to our quality department was immense (including an extraordinary amount of First Article Reports to complete),Scotia maintained 100% on schedule delivery supported by 100% customer satisfaction.
With the addition of our new Habco PTB1020 series testing booth, Scotia now offers hydrostatic (water) Pressure Testing and Autofrettage from 0-20,000 PSIG as well as air or nitrogen tests from 0-3,000 PSIG. Our new test booth consists of a closed-loop de-ionized water system pulling from a 200 gallon holding tank, pressurizing it by an air driven liquid booster pump.

Scotia is continuing to become more GREEN with the procurement of a new compressor that has translated into energy savings with reduced emissions of pollution, noise and moisture.

Partnering with our electric company, Scotia has completely retrofitted our lighting system throughout all of manufacturing and the administrative offices with a state of the art energy efficient system, creating a win-win for all.

Scotia's Engineering Department created a new flow through high pressure closed loop aqueous cleaning tank, assuring cleanliness without FOD every time!
